Bored at work again todsy so thought of a few places
st georges cricket club has a very good size hall with stage
britsh legion in donnington not massive but will not be booked up
red lion pub on old a5 next to bp garage has a separate function room
all these will not be booked up in the week so should be cheap/free to hire if you can get 20-30people there had few others places but mainly run by council so hard to get time slot

We've already checked out the hall at the red lion and also st Georges cricket club - and both are not available and have been knocked off the list.
We're currently left with Cordingley hall, the new woodside community centre and the Anstice, unless anyone can come up with some more venues by sunday these are the 3 we've ended up with out of an original 48!
We're meeting at cordingley hall this sunday at 2pm and then will be checking out the other 2 - the club members need to make a decision VERY SOON so i expect as many as possible to turn up - if they still want a club to race at.

Did the meeting produce a result for the new venue?

Yep, new venue is in Donnington next to Aldi. Start there next week (21st) @19:30. I'm sure one of the THT regulars will be on here soon to fill in all the details.

Yep, new venue has been agreed. Cordingly hall, next to the bingo hall / Aldi in Donnington Telford.

Either myself or Andy will post the flyer up ASAP which Andy produced, this will provide detailed location / maps, times etc for everyone.

We are starting there next Wednesday, 21st December at 7:30, possibly racing the 28th too if there is enough interest (which I believe there will be).
