Winter Race Ireland 2011 - Day 1

The first of what the organisers hope will be a very popular annual off road event in Ireland has started. The three day event is being held by Dublin Model Car Club in their dedicated permenant indoor venue on an all-astroturf track - with a great fast-flowing layout.

Friday saw open practice for all drivers - with a few Belgian and English drivers making the trip over this year the mood was relaxed and fun.

Track is great fun to drive. There will be some close racing this weekend for sure.

Im sure there will be plenty of other fun things going on as well, we'll make sure of this!!!:thumbsup:
