Hi Chaps

Posting this for my friend

He's just bought a secondhand Sanwa M11 Transmitter and wants to run it on his 2.4GHz Sanwa TX & RX Module

The problem is that it powers up, binds OK, works for about 20 secs and then the RX shuts down for 1 sec then powers back up and works OK for another 20 secs and repeats the cycle.

The Transmitter Module is TX-222FS
The Receiver is a RX-442FS

Is the transmitter not compatible with the 2.4 or is the transmitter faulty

Any help would be much appreciated

Hi mate this sounds very much like the problem im having i run an m11x and turn my tx and car on but if i operate the steering aggressively mine shuts down for about a second then comes back on. Is your mate giving amd input to the tx when it happens. Also what esc/motor/ servo is he/she running. Take a look at the thread i startes yesterdy in the electrics section it may shed some light on the issue for you.

If the steering is shutting it down then wouldn't a capacitor on the rx help? I've used servos which have shut my system down (crap servos!) and using a capacitor 100% solved it.

thanks for the replies chaps

my mates is using this in his 8th Nitro Agama car
in his car are sanwa servos for the steering and throttle
a life 6.6v 1600mha battery and a ambrc pt plugged in

yes this does seems to happen when the steering is used quickly

it seems to only happen with the M11 with the sanwa 2.4 is used
when he changes to a spektrum 2.4 module and receiver the problem disappears

does this shed any light ??

Hi, which Spektrum module is your friend using in their M11?
