Hello all, i am currently thinking of buying an X10 as there have been a few up for sale recently, and was wondering what are the things that would normaly break in a bad crash and also where would i get a hold of some spares as-well. It is just that if the spares are fairly hard to get a hold of then i may be a little put of.:) But i have always fancied driving one of these and i think that they look really cool.

Hey mate,

Its really good to know that there is more people getting these cars, Parts are available from Xtremes site here : www.teamxtreme.co.uk (http://www.teamxtreme.co.uk/)

I would say Arms, Uprights front and rear. There is a spares pack available you can buy which includes a good few choice parts that has been bundled for a reason.

RACE SPARES PACK X10

£25.52

Essential Spares Pack To Have Includes: 1 Of Each Wishbone 1 Set Of Wheels 2 Of Each Upright Standard Ball Joints Long Standard Ball Joints.

http://www.teamxtreme.co.uk/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=32

The good thing is we are based in the UK so there is no silly shipping and messing around with customs and such. Also Payable via Paypal too !

Hope this helps dude !

The only parts I've broke on mine is upper and lower front wishbones and a spur gear. If you do need parts xtreme can normally get them to you, next day.

If you get one and your at a regional and break anything give me a shout, I've always got loads of spares. (the joy of having three complete cars :D)

Steering linkage bushes. I wore them on mine may be worth a set in the pit box.
Other than that its a tank.
Oh and get a pred X-pert to check the diff. Think mine was shimed wrongly when i got it.

The steering link bushes will keep wearing and give you play, I'd suggest a partial upgrade to the X11 steering by ordering
1 x STEERING POST LINK (XC018) = £8.50
1 x BALLRACED STEERING LINK (XC016) = £10.20
1 x BEARINGS FLANGED 3x2x6 (XB005) = £3.40

Pretty sure the Steering Post and bearings come in pairs, you may just want to check.

This will remove the play generated by wear and works really well, also works out circa £40 cheaper than the full upgrade. Oh you do need a few extra screws though.
