Hi,
Can people let me know if they would like us to hold a meeting on this day/evening. We were going to have a break because of Christmas, however I'd prefer a break from the family after 3 days at home! :)
The plan is to start building the track around 14.00 (can have morning with family) then finish at our normal time. I want to run more races and possibly use more jumps etc...
Please let me know your thoughts by tomorrow night as the venue want an answer.
Cheers,
Matt
Count me in Matt, I would of thought Ben and Phil will be up for it too.

Caravan race anyone?
build (not Buy) your own caravan hook it on and race it....do you build it lightweight for speed or heavy or durabilty?? Haven't laughed so much when I raced one of these. Took me ages to build it and 5 minutes to be left with just the axle! lol

Racing starts 16.00
4 rounds qualifying and 'MAYBE' 3 finals for all (depending on numbers)
Finished and packed up by 22.00 as usual

If people can start giving definate answers on attending it would help.. We have already been informed by a few people they intend racing (some top drivers too)
As the roads won't be too busy either people will be home by a decent hour too!! Depending how far you have to travel.
I'm a definitely maybe at this stage. I will definitely be there so long as I have a car to run. One car needs a complete strip down and rebuild, the other I am picking up brand new in kit form on Friday so as long as I can make sufficient time to get at least one of them race worthy then I will be there. Hoping to drag Stuart and Demetri from Stotfold along with me as well.
I will confirm one way or another as soon as I can.
Stu also has a Lunch Box so if he can make it I know he is dying to join in the carnage!

Will the food be on?
Good question Adam!!
Unfortunately the venue have confirmed tonight that they will not be opening the canteen facilities on this BANK holiday. :(
Please bring a pack up, however most of you I know who'll attending will probably indulge far too much over the next couple of days and the old belly may need a rest! Failing that theres a McDonalds down the road like in most cases. I will also contact a mate who owns the village pub to see what he can offer (takeaway wise) if people are interested?
Sorry again,
Matt

On a serious note we'll have to take a look at numbers because getting the idea a few people may attend!!

1 big race would be more fun than heats
Lunchie race & 4wd for me
I get the feeling extra Marshalls may need to be deployed for the Lunchbox race! :p
Not too bothered about multiple qualifiers etc but a practice and then race later would be good just to make sure it works ok.

Right, the BOX race will take place before the finals. Anyone entering this race will not be required to enter as 2 classes!
I found this on another thread mate, I think this is the correct address :eh?:
Venue:
Indoor Sports Arena - Pitsford Centre
Moulton College,
West Street,
Moulton,
NN3 7RR
Directions:
Postcode only takes you to the Dorm area, you need to follow the road round to the right. Continue down the hill over some speed bumps, you will then go through a S bend and climb up a hill. The next entrance on your right will be for the Moulton College Sports Centre, continue past this following road round to your left, you should see a lit up complex to your right. Take the next right into the Holcot centre, Pitsford Rd. At the top of the road turn left and follow signs for car park. There will be a number of large buildings in front of car park, the Sports Arena is to the left (about 3rd building down)

Thanks to Puppy (as normal) and Ian for helping out on race control. Thanks also to the people who helped setup and the masses that stayed to pack away as usual. It just shows how easy it is to run a good size track every week due to being able to pack away in 15 minutes!
