What do we need to do for 2012 regions just turn up or is it more involved? Do we need to register somewhere?

It will be much the same system as last year Chef, a meeting to decide venue and date (after Nationals are announced so no clashing), a post in this section detailing them (end of Jan ? perhaps).

Booking in will be via the DMS online form (http://www.dmsresults.co.uk/) or downloaded pdf from the Stotfold (http://www.stotfoldmcc.co.uk/regional.php) site. Of course you can just turn up - but.......

All the information is in the post re 2011 regiona (http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61900)l date at the top of this section, I think we may have more venues in 2012 but then I thought that motoarena would have one or two in 2011

If you are a BRCA member you can apply for entry to the relevent club via the online booking in system. I very much doubt any rounds will be full so you're pretty much in already. Pre payment and pre booking is preferred however you can turn up on the day and race (subject of course to a round not being advertised as full).

2wd and 4wd are on different days so I doubt if venues will have many 70+ entries.

Would it not be better to speak to the Regional rep (Keith Wardle) for info regarding applying to host a Regional?
No offence Darren.

Swindon were part of the mid south regionals for a few years at three different venues, 2 of which were grass and 1 astro so surely shouldn't be a problem to re join should it?

Talking of regionals, I did promise last wednesday night to post them up on Monday (yesterday).

The delay is we are waiting on one of the clubs to confirm with their venue and dates before they can OK them (no names mentioned, but if he spent less time on here and more time chasing the venue we might get an answer soon LOL :D ;))

As soon as we have confirmation, I will post up all the dates, venues and detials as promised, hopefully within the next 7 days......

I liked Swindon too, the straight and banked curve was not for the faint hearted.

Liked the banked section, dramatic and like walls of death & crossovers not as hard to drive as they look. More of em
