Hi All
I recently made contact with a Chinese firm that manufactures ceramic balls. I had 26 diff balls and 16 thrust balls (2 spare of each) arrive last week. This is enough to do both front and rear diff on my ZX5 and they only cost me £20 inc postage.

The guy wasn't keen to sell them to me because he only supplies by the 10,000 to wholesalers etc. But i gave him some contacts for UK distributors so he did me a favour. He is allowing me to place one more bulk order on behalf of friends because i knew a few people who wanted them.
I just wondered if anyone on here would be interested? The balls are silicon nitrite, grade 5. Lighter than tungsten for lower rotating mass. The best resistance to scuffing/flat spotting of any balls. And they need very little lubricant.
Obviously if i do a bulk order it may attract customs duty, so expect the cost for a full 4wd car set to be about £25 + uk postage.
I was delighted because Kyosho want £23 for one set of diff balls!

If you are interested PM me with the size and quantity you are after, or reply to this thread. I'm happy to take cheque or paypal once the balls have arrived and i can confirm the exact cost. Or i can place on ebay if people want the added protection etc.

thanks
James

just wanted to bump this up again as i'm hoping to place the order later this week.

just to clarify my last post, i can get any quantity of any size balls. So if you just want 7 thrust balls for a B4 that's fine.

diff balls should be about £8 per diff, and thrust balls about £5 per diff.
so £13 for a 2wd complete diff, and about £25-26 for a complete 4wd car.

i don't need the money up front, only once i've received the balls and know the exact cost.

cheers

The order arrived a little while back and the orders have been sent out. I've got two spare sets left consisting of;

24 3/32 diff balls
14 1/16 thrust balls

this is enough for a complete lazer front and rear (or any 4wd that takes the same size balls)

I didn't get hit for customs so i am happy to take £20 plus postage for a complete set or £10 +p&p for a half set 2wd.

sorry, they've all gone.
i wouldn't split the diff and thrusy balls anyway. i think the thrust balls make more of a difference than the diff balls as well as they are smaller and therefore under more pressure.
