My Dad's friend has a Losi Mini-T but needs to get the standard plastic pinion off and put a metal one on. He's got the right pinion's but i've never seen anything so small - Does anyone know where i can get a the smallest of small allen keys that will fit?

I presume it is imperial since it is losi?
Does the one not fit from the CVD's on normal cars or is it smaller than that? I have a full set at home, with some very fine metric and imperial ones which I got at a focus when I was a student. I can check on sizes when I get home tonight if you like.
Do you have any Cat 2000 spares/parts Nick, as I am trying to resurrect one at the moment?
Cheers
Mark

Honestly it's sooo small you can hardly even see the screw in there - very frustrating as i have no other way to get the pinion on it for him :-(
Mark - I will have to check what i've got as i haven't got many bits but depends what you need? PM me if you prefer.

Don't be so sure its imperial, a lot of the 'Losi' stuff is china now.

The smallest imperial allen key I have is: 0.028"
" " metric " " " " ": 0.7mm
I got my kit at Focus, but you should be able to get one from Homebase or B+Q I reckon.

It is probably a 0.035" you need, I think Hudy and 3Racing make them as drivers, but not easy to find.

Reading the thread, thought I was the one who had the answer until I read the post before mine and Sosidge has it spot on, it will be 0.035" which is the size that Trinity use in their metal pinions for the Mini-T. Your dad's mate probably got them as a pack of four, they do come with a tiny allen key but that lasts about two minutes before it rounds off. Hope that helps confirm Nick.
