Gears of war problem

Please help. .
When atempting to start Gears of War after installing I get the following
error:
To run Gears of War with your current hardware setup, you must install the
following software update or updates:
+ ATI Catalyst driver revision 8.411.0.0
If you do not install this software, at some point the game will stop and
your progress will be lost. But i could not find ATI Catalyst driver revision 8.411.0.0 anywhere can anyone help?

If it fails on install Vista can sometimes throw a wobbly on graphics drivers. Normally these drivers will be fine though. If you do get a problem boot into safe mode: On boot up (just after bios post) you hit F8 and go into safe mode.

drivers are out there as well, why not play the game and see how it goes?

the link i provided actually takes you to the ati website where it clearly shows you the list of os systems you can download for,vista included..if you cant be arsed to clink on the link and check for yourself (it takes 2 seconds)then babysitters are about £4 an hour :)
