Does the later (cab 4ward) shell fit on the older chassis? I assume I would also need the matching undertray?

Thank you

Neil

No, you need to trim the chassis on the front to make it fit. Or buy a b44.1 chassis...

Grab yourself a saw/dremel and trim the chassis to the b44.1 shape. You'll probably need to move the servo back slightly if I remember rightly.

But why would you want to fit one of those hideous monstrosity's when there are perfectly good looking std shells around?:woot:

heres a bit of info from team associated themselves.............

1. Chassis cut for additional ground clearance

2. Servo mounted 3mm closer to center line

3. Spur gear changed from 84 to 81 (as above to move motor closer to centre line)

You only need to trim down chassis so slightly use a demel I just bought bulldog shell first So I could scribe a line on chassis from belly tray easy so simple servo will NOT need moving at all hope this helps

One additional note (and I'm sure Neil would know this already)

Make sure you wear a mask and have ample ventilation when cutting the carbon chassis. Very hazardous stuff if you get it in your lungs :(
