Looks like another purpose built track will be coming to the Mid-South!!!!

Last season's end of season finals were held at the surface of the moon... sorry Silverstone Buggy Club. Well after discussions this week the club and various helpers are gearing up for work to start on a purpose built multi surface track!!!

The track will be dug into the ground with drainage added... Surfaces will include Astro, Concrete, cobbles, Clay, Grass.. There will also be plenty of jumps and bumps but these will be consistent and raceable.

There is gonna be plenty of effort put into the track by some good drivers.. The location and facilities were there most would agree, the big let down was the track. All credit to the Silverstone members who are looking to make the club one of the finest.

Keep looking for any updates......

We are looking for as many people as possible to get this done asap...

Most people that live local are getting involved....
We already have the Astro turf waiting, all machinery needed is already for us... sadly as you say there isn't long. Work may be put on hold till after the first regional but we will see.

I liked the original silverstone track. It was good for regionals, but didn't stand up to the volume of cars for an end of season meeting. A purpose built multi surface track will be great for the region, we really have some good venues now.

I would come and help, but unfortunately family commitments at the moment won't allow me. Good luck with the build, i look forward to racing on it later in the year.
