Hi All,

I have been given a B44 kit and need some advice on electronics. I was made redundant not long ago so I must kit the car out the best I can within my budget.

I am not racing at the moment but hope to at some point

I need receiver, battery, Motor (Brushed), ESC and steering servo.

I have £200 to spend....

Thanks in advance for your help.

P.S Anyone with second hands bits for sale PM me!

hi mate,

i would recommend not 'skimping' out on electronics.

You can get IB 3600's for a good price.

Futaba R152J is a good, small receiver on 27mhz.

The Team Checkpoint Money motor is a really good 19x1 motor.

Novak ESC's are always good, check modelsport.co.uk for some good ones, at a good price.

For a buggy, i would reccomend that you use a fast servo with metal gears, Hitec ones are good for this.

I would recommend buying a second hand esc. Someone is selling a Novak GTX for around £50 so is worth buying.

Motors, well I am managing buying Reedy and Orion / Peak motors for £20 a pop and brand new and still packaged on Ebay. Just type in modified motors or Reedy motors etc and you will find easily.

Servo, I would advise a 9402 for a strong servo but costs a bit. Mind you there are cheaper alternatives at around the £30 mark that do just as good a job.

Pm me with what bits you need, I'm selling several speedos and recievers. Might be able to find a quality servo to.

When you say reciever ramdrive, do you have a transmitter ?
