Hi. Car = B4.1 Factory Team

I bought a spektrum set up which had a receiver and an S200 servo in it which i was just gonna use for practice etc and to save some cash untilI upgraded. However none of the servo horns in the B4.1 FT kit fit the Spektrum servo so looks like I am just gonna have to get something decent from the off.

So - what servo to get for around £40-£50 to fit my B4.1 horns? Of course having a 4.1 its not for bashing, but I am only a beginner racer so dont really wanna be spending £80 upwards on a servo.

The instrucitons has some brands listed but the only ones readily available on the main UK sites like Modelsport, JE and Wheelspon are Hiten and KO Pro - the latter being way too expensive for me.

So - help please :-)

Thank you

Wouldn't you just be better off getting some new servo horn's that fit the servo ? A shed load cheaper.

Savox do a cheaper servo - http://rclazy.com/shop/electronics/savox-servo-sc-0254mg/

I think the horn you need to fit savox is the one that fits the futaba servo '25' splines if I remember correctly , I'm sure the is one in your kit if it's new or owned from new

as above
or as above again a new servo horn is your best bet

Take a look at the Team Orion Vortex servos. Great servos and good prices. You can also buy spares like cases and gear sets.

Thanks all.

As for why I dont just get a servo horn for the current S200 - because I was only going to use that for practice/set up etc. The S200 is a weak servo - less than 1KG or force so don't really wanna use that at a track.

The kit was bought new yes, so I have the 4 horns included in the kit so I know that some of the ones listed in the back will definately fit, but as the only one readily available is HiTec, then the savox's and the like I just needed to know would definately fit the horns.

So it seems that the Spektrum S200 has a wider head on it than most others, so seems many other reputable brand should fit one of the 4 in my kit then.

After some research, I managed to pick up a new Hitec HS-5625 MG for £25. So that will do me for now :)
