Looking for a new shell for my Tamiya TB-02.
Any recommendations on what shells are considered best for racing in terms of aerodynamics and in particular good downforce?
What is everyone using these days?

Hot Bodies Moorespeed do a selection of bodies and downforce wings, three per shell, try a few websearches for suppliers in UK etc.

DITO to that moorespeeds rule best shells by far loads of front and three wings what more could a tc racer ask for :D
laters Andy
p.s and there only 14 quid
I would have to say, best all rounder is the Speed 6 from Protoform.
On a side not, the HotBodies shells are as thin as council toilet paper, the lightweight ones are even worse (I have painted a few recently).

The HB shells are silly thin, i have one as my first shell on my S400 and it bends really easily and stays bent, definately going for a PF mazda 6 next time round, the extra pennies are worth the strength.
If you're after a sturdy shell I found the HPI Stratus is able to take some massive hits and not tear. My Dad's is in the wall more than on the track and its still sound.

Ta for the advice. The moorespeeds look good but if they are that thin think will go for the PF Speed 6

I couldnt imagine the weight difference being much more than a couple grams.

i have had the pf light weight carpet dodge stratus and the hb moorespeed mazda 6 and i think the moorespeed mazda 6 it is the same thickness as the light weight carpet shell but it does have the advantage of having the three wings so i would go for the hb moorespeed ones over the pf

you need to get a new lola body, with a full back end.
try the toyota GT one that rcmart has, i used to run it on my RWD F103GT and have loads of grip
