As the title says. The motor runs ok without the sensor lead in but as soon as i plug the lead in its a bag of nails. It gogs and jusdders and doesnt move.
Ive tried 2 esc but th esame thing, only thing i havnt changed is the sensor lean (its a new lead though...)
Any thoughts on what i can try?

Are all ABC fully in. sounds like one is loose or fallen out. It has happend to me twice, just pinch the end with long nose pliers so the connector is slightly oval and a snug fit.

I have had the pins come loose that the plugs go onto on a sp motor, it worked fine, but wouldn't start off the line/from stop but once moving was fine. trying to work out how to repair it now:confused:

I have had a similair problem, it was the sensor board in the motor that had gone. got a replacement and it was fine.
Think they are £17 from schumacher, but you could probably get them cheaper abroad.

You should have said on Thursday, I've got a spare sensor board you could have tried. Will bring it next week!

On my old SP motor the sensor board / pin locations went, so like you say, would be fine running then mess up. We found it not worth changing and I move to orca who do not use the plug system for motors. Nick and Demon took it apart and gave the bad news, so that's good enough for me. Sorry to hear your woes buddy.

All sorted, it turned out it was a dodgy sensor lead. Runs sweet as a nut, roll on Thursday when I get to give it a propper try :)
