Hi guys, I would like to thank EVERYBODY at ANSMANN UK especially Shaun and Paul as they trusted me 2 years ago to bring the brand forward and I hope I have made them happy.
I have been very well looked after in those 2 years and we will still be incontact as they are all my friends from now on and for ever:blush:.
I do hope the very best for everybody involved as they are now looking good in the hands of younger drivers:woot: and I know I have been a big part of there family.
Thanks again Ansmann.
You are in my heart along side Traxxas(one for you oldies).

Stu,
Although I have nothing to do with the Ansmann brand, I just wanted to say that I think the work you have done for them over the last 12 months has been exceptional. Your performances with the car last season made a lot of people sit up and take notice of the cars and you leave with the brand in a much stronger position in the 1/10 scene than when you joined.
Good luck wherever you go.

I'd just like to echo this point, the Ansmann brand has come so far in the last 2 years and 2012 looks to be an even better year with all the time & hard work you've put in!
Good luck with your next venture Stu, what ever that may be! :)

As far as I'm aware Ansmann did not simply distribute Team C, they actively developed on that base platform. They manufactured the cars and parts based on the original designs. I believe they have the rights to continue manufacturing the cars using there own facilities and to develop them further.

I think you miss understood me... when manufacture I mean in Germany, not China or global.
Ansmann took the original CAD and molds and molded there own parts. They did not simply buy in Team C parts that's why the Ansmann cars have their logo as part of the moldings, they adapted the original CAD and made new master molds for some parts. I'm sure Team C have a manufacturing factory somewhere in China.
The current Team C Europe deal is a distribution deal so all the parts and cars will be shipped in from China unlike Ansmann who (again as far as I know) molded the bit's themselves at there factory.
See what I mean?
Anyway..sorry for the off topic...
Still a shame to see drivers leave for otehr teams but best of luck once again!!
J
Think your a little mixed up there, Team C is the OEM producer who re-brands for whoever is buying their kits. Stuff like anodising is then done in the colour of the re-brand, as the 2wd buggy was seen in a few 'distributors' colours.
Ansmann is not an RC Car company, more a 'box shifter' who managed to develop a few parts, that could be made out of carbon fibre.

I notice all the links to the Ansmann model site have been disabled when you visit the parent company sites. As an owner of the cars this doesn't give me a warm feeling regards spares/support etc.
I assume the Team C spares will be eagerly awaited by all?

Aren't Ansmann big in batteries and stuff? I've had one of their big add-on battery/grips for my Canon SLR camera.

I can confirm I am still receiving all of the parts I order from Ansmann here in the UK. The service has been very good, parts ordered one day and they arrive the next. This is from the UK headquarters.

I think what they are referring to is all the new parts coming from TeamC, for example the new CF front plate. I have not seen Ansmann get any of the new parts in the last 3-4 months and their blog has been awfully quiet also. There has also been a lot of running changes as the TeamC TC02 Evo (also no talk from Ansmann that they will also have the Evo) has come out which is quite a different car from the first TC02, which the Ansmann is based on.
Also AR:s newest recruitments bring in a lot of experience from the RTR field but maybe not so much from the racing field? Maybe Ansmann is going back to what they know best, rebranding and selling RTR cars? Rebranding is Ansmanns bread and butter and the RC division is just a very small part of the Ansmann corporation.
Ansmann will of course support their current line of cars as they are a reputable company and have shown that they have the volumes and logistics to keep parts in stock. But I fear they will not be able to provide the upgrades and R&D development that the manufacturer is putting out for the racers in the long run.

While surfing on the net if just find out this article "Ansmann AG, the €50 million parent company of Ansmann Racing has announced major expansion plans for their increasingly successful Racing division. The small office in Nuremberg will now relocate to their head office complex in Assamstadt where more than 256 employees are already based. A new 25,000 square feet warehouse and office expansion has just been completed that allows plenty of room for AR to continue to grow in the future. “This move ensures that the full resources of the Ansmann Group can be utilised by our fast growing Ansmann Racing division,” said Shaun Collins, their UK Racing Business Manager".
Reading this I'm less concerned about AR future.
maybe they are planning their own car, just like what tq racing are doing.

jes thats true because if i want a cf plate i cant buy it by local shop because ansmann is not selling it just like kevlar one and some other stuff why?

It appears that the Chinese factory has done to Ansmann what they did to TQ from the outside. They believe they can do it better than the companies that made them what they are.
Make it know what development was brought from the outside in, not the other way around. From both American and them Europe.
Good Luck to Stu in his racing endeavors.
The new TQ is working with the Academy base line, but quite a few internal upgrades have been done. Stronger materials, better diff parts, standard wheels (from a well known mfg.).
