Who's going to this one?

Has any body from the club got any more info on the surface of the track etc and also what time do we need to be there/racing start?

I seem to remember reading somewhere it was a mixture of Astro, grass and a bit of concrete.

I will have a look at my tyre situation which I feel is one massive box of mini-pins at the moment. and hopefully pop down :)

Yeah this weekend. Wes did mention it in the broxtowe indoor post, only notification about the the last round of the indoor off-road but I think it has got lost in the ether somewhere.

Wednesday night off-road starts on the 30th of april through the summer on wednesday nights. I got notification from BMCC committee about that and so put it on me-or.co.uk.

If someone can confirm this sunday is on then I will slap that up on the site to :)

P.s. bondy I was browsing through the user list for the me-or site and noticed you haven't confirmed your registration yet, just wondering if you recieved an e-mail or not?

Yep this Sunday, a mixture of astro, grass and tarmac will be interesting to see how the track runs laying the astro down on the tarmac. If it drives half as good as the old perminant astro track it will be a good days racing. And I suppose if it drives nice theres a possibilty of running the regionals on it!

Wes let us know what time gates open and racing starts, are you setting the track up in the morning? will come down early to lend a hand.

PS, Rob, will bring my shells with me:)

:) I turned up and there was nobody there at half ten which was a shame as I was looking forward to seeing what the track was going to be like.

Went down this morning although didn't take my racing gear as I knew it was going to be a non starter. Alan and Smithy were there too. Alan talked me through what they had in mind and think it will work for some decent club racing. But unfortunatly its a case of needing garenteed dry weather to do it.
Yep, roll on summer, am itching to do some outdoor racing:)
