Evening everyone, it's that time again when I need some more help please.
Got a problem with the rear drive shafts they keep popping out when I try to set up the washers on 3mm rear and 1mm front to set the rear toe/track.
Just wonder if there's a problem with the drive shafts that I have got.
Can someone please measure there front and rear drive shafts for me please, I need to get to the bottom of this.
Thank you
I know you can't get them the wrong way round but itS starting to do my head in

Are you using plastic or alloy mountings?

I use the alloy mounts with gaps of 3mm rear and 1 mm front with the diff in the low position and never had the drive shafts pop out. Are you running the diff high or low?

Are you shure that they are mounted correctly? a picture would help.
There is also the possibility of combined droop/ with/ diff position/ camber combinations that will not work.(especially with high diff.

Think the diff is set as low.
I have tried various sheet up sheets at worksop and used lloyds sheet off Schumacher set yesterday for Coventry astro.

As Cruise said, the alloy hangers are assembled incorrectly. Here's a link to the exploded diagram which shows the correct way:

I understand now I think, basically top alloy blocks are on the wrong way. Car as basically being run wide at the back, and putting the extra washers on has not helped.
Thank you fellas for the help much appreciated.
Heres a quick question for you all, when you put the washers in the back lets say3mm in rear and 1mm in front what difference does this give you from say 2.5mm and 0.5mm when the overall difference is the same.

The lower parts need to be mounted different aswell.
The wider mount changes the car in two ways.
Generally a wider car is more is less likely to flip over.In addition ,the wider spacing of the wishbone pins generates less chassis roll and therefore less grip.

I get it now, thank you for the assistance. Car should handle a lot better at Worksop in a fortnight
