I've used Schumacher Yellow Mini Pins on my old B4.1 Yellows for the rear. On the front I've used a mix of fronts with the inner and outter row cut off, or staggered ribs. Been a while since I've been to Taplow so things might have changed, but that's a good start for you.

Dboot nanobites work well on the rear, mini pins in yellow, staggers or cut staggers in yellow up front
How does this sound?
Proline Step Pin Tyres.Rear
Proline ribbed tyres. Front
I can use this on carpet and off road right?
Thanks.

Sounds like rear tires being worn out within 2 runs and lots of under steer from the front!!!

I agree, I would go for Minipins and staggers. Mini pins on the front will give you too much bite on the front of the car and end up grip rolling.

Also what sort of surface do you mean by off road? Astro, grass, clay or gravel?
A bit of everything i suppose :woot:. I might bash the car once a month or something.
Guys i dont think you will belive this!
The guy who i bought my b4.1 kindly put brand new wheels and tyres inside the box,i never cared to look what they were.
THEY ARE SHUCMACHER MINI PINS REAR AND CUT STAGGERS FRONT!!!!!!,ON NEW AE WHEELS:woot::woot::woot::woot::woot:
Thats saved me a bit of money eh?
Thanks guys.
Pins will destroy themselves the second you put them near tarmac for "bashing". Staggers will be rubbish on all surfaces except astro/carpet style.
Race tyres are for racing! If you must bash a race car, get some dirthawgs
What I've decided is, to use the schumachers for racing ONLY.
I will only be 'light bashing' driving down a field or road etc.Nothing extreme, and for that I'm just going to stick with the AE Standard tyres.
Thanks

I like the dboots nanobites on the rear with schumacher cut staggers up front for carpets use. The dboots give plenty of grip and are slightly cheaper than the schumachers, the only problem is I only get about 3 meets before the dboots are knackered whereas minipins/minispikes last for about 4 meets.

most i hear, well, us(shrccc), allow off rd tyres only, no foams.
Years ago, many of them........... we ran foams with tractight additive etc, but does not seem to be the thing now.

would out last rubber, so would keep the cost down and are cheaper to start with

For the first week, then someone is faster with different shore (or whatever it is) and then a off road buggy becomes a touring car style battle with several different tyres for any given night, a truing machine for the optimal hight, loads of different additives...
