It looks smart, it reminds me of a cougar 2000 a bit.

I really like it, better on the eye than some production cars:thumbsup:

Well my French isnt that good but i noticed 'B4' and 'XXX' seem to appear a lot in that article! (The car at the bottom also has B4 stickers on it)

yeah. it's based on a b4 rear end and a xxx front. It shares a gearbox and rear hubs with the b4, steering assembly and front hubs/steering blocks with a xxx and then a few custom bits.

Cool. Looking at the photo's on the link, it looks a pretty similar idea to the HB D2, but in carbon.

Nice work though. Liking the shell.

Using some of my basics in french, here what roughly said this article!

The idea grow up in 2001 with fancy thing in term of design. The designer move to more conventional idea to design something around B4 and XXX parts, AE Steath transmission and Losi damper, all for reliability.

He first think about a rectangular CF chassis with plastic side like for 1/8th nitro but went for a CF chassis with CF side and two shaft that you can tight/untight to vary chassis flex.

Steering and front hub comes for XXXBK2, front Delrin A-arm are prototype 2mm longer than AE B4 ones

The rear and is close to a B4 one with some modification.

He also deals with car behavior. the car understeers on exit of tight corners. It's a bit lazy compare to a B4. He got some issues with front A-arm are they do not contain fiber.

Hope that help!

LOL almost all parts on this thing are US made.

While I lived in belgium I saw far and few examples of home-made mods, here in japan I see a lot more of this. But, admitted, often not with the intention to make the best performing machines. originality and looks often are more important to the builders here.
