Futaba GR3

Hi guys,

I'm looking at upgrading my radio and was wondering if anyone has the Futaba 3GR?
I tried my nephew's steering wheel tranny and can't get away with it, so i'll be sticking with sticks!
I know there are three types of Futaba tranny, i'm hoping to go racing this year with my B44 so do i need 2.4GHz or can i get away with 40mhz and crystals?

I recently upgraded to a 3GR... It is a lovely set, feels a whole lot better than it looks - the ergonomics are spot on imo. The menu system is the same as the 3PM wheel set, so not the most intuative system ever, but very comprehensive.

I got the 2.4Ghz one and my only moan is that the receivers are pricey - the best price I got was £50 on eBay from HK, UK sellers want about a ton - for a receiver!!!

For the money, I feel it is almost as good as the 3VCS and half the price :)
