Saturday Racing - 21st April 2012

Following on from the earlier topics I've managed to provisionally book the hall for Saturday 21st April.

The plan is for us to race as normal on the Friday night and leave the track out ready for us to race on the Saturday.

As it's only going to be a club day, we're thinking of a 10am start through to 4pm giving us plenty of racing :thumbsup:
Should be able to do hot food lunchtime as well
Cost would be £5 per person (doesn't matter how many classes you race)

So, who'd be interested?

You never know tho, could be one for people to dust their trucks off for as we shouldn't have any problems accommodating extra classes!!

If anyone has a vintage car they want to sell i will buy it and run, the PB seems too fragile as i have broken it again. Will consider most thingfs cat rc10 losi etc just want a running vintage. Otherwise i will run modern.

Is it start racing 10 AM tomorrow or doors open 10 AM?

Doors open at 10am - start racing 10.30 ish - track will already be laid out so only have to book everyone in and sort the heats.

Don't forget that racing is £5 for the day, I know it's more than the usual Friday night, but the hall costs a lot more for a Saturday during the daytime.

Maybe hard to believe but even I really enjoyed racing this weekend. Thanks to the old man for lending me his racing stuff.

Look forward to another Saturday in the future. Any plans for another that won't clash with a major event?

A huge thank you to Dave Gooding for volunteering to go in the kitchen leaving me to concentrate on trying to enjoy racing!
