During the upgrade process I've managed to break the on-line booking in.

All entries that have been made pre update are still valid however any new bookings are not going through so please can you mail wrca.events@hotmail.com with your entry.

I'll let you all know as soon as its back online.

Hi Mike,

Have you got a date when the site bookings failed as I'm not sure if I booked before your update?

My entry showed on the spaces booked so does that mean it is registered?

You're entry has been received Roy,
as have hit5005's, Rich's, Jay's, Spencer's and Jackor33!

I will be discussing Balder's test & implementation plan with him shortly.
Just goes to show what can happen if an analyst isn't involved in the project! :p

By the way;

The new layout looks very good, I'm sure it will be even better when we all find our way around it and more contributions are added.

Just a thought could you add an entry list of names to each event or is that too much for the software?

I believe we are following the BRCA 'standard' for events which is not to list who's entered - you can view the number of people entered and whether you have or not tho :)

No pre-prod environment? :o
Next thing you'll be saying is that you haven't created a PID or even an RDD, if not then that's something for us to discuss in the PIR

I was aware of the BRCA suggestion not to post entry lists on open forums but not sure if this applied to a website like WRCA. The Central Booking site for BRCA National events the entry list quotes names.

No idea Roy, that's for flat trackers tho isn't it?
for brca offroad theyve said its a no can do somewhere else

If it's to make sure you have entry then the WRCA system sends a confirmation email and when you view the event it shows your status.

Does everyone want to see who has entered an event?
If the majority do then I will investigate further

Not really bothered on who has entered, only how many and what classes.
