think I'll go to Batley if it's on and nice weather - awesome track and I've not raced there for ages.

Bury for me if the weather is good.

Id like to think many of you will be coming, especially as it currently needs racers to attend more than ever to remain open.

The only criticism i have is, why are all 3 clubs running on the same day?

We know bury and batley struggle for members ( not sure about southport) so why dont bury and batley alternate weekends, so they both get a good turn out instead of a few heats each week, it will benefit them, it will bring better racing more numbers and this should spiral as word spreads.

They could even run a club championship between them, like 8 rounds and 3 from each to count:confused:

Each one will have members loyal to them only, Southport especially has this - Bury & Batley need it. So to have club meetings not clash would be catastophic! I mean, we don't mind (or perhaps we do, with price of fuel!) travelling and have a dilemma when they clash, but thats just us and the club wouldn't survive on just us, it needs the local Joey coming from around the corner.

Southport for me, first round of the summer series, and as i've never raced there before, it will be good practice for the regional the following week

Batley and Bury running on the same day is a bit awkward, I want to support both :(

I am thinking, if many people turn up I might put some money on for winners of the finals? What do you think? Bury that is!

Yeh I hope it is a gift voucher from the Bank of England, has the queens head on it

Good idea Woody. Forecast is changing (these forecasters are rubbish), but lets thik positive and plan to race at Bury.
