Hi all,
As i'm new to the ways of the xxx-4, and i imagine there are loads of you who have had one in the past, i thought i'd ask for some advice....
i noticed that the rear hinge pin (and suspension arms) is raised quite a lot(from the chassis), and was wondering if people had done anything to lower it closer to the chassis? (as i imagine this would aid in handling).
I have tried to start this by (from what people have told me at the indoor finals) removing some of the material from the rear (front) hinge pin brace, then removing some of the chassis to stop the suspension arms catching on it. That was simple enough.
The only thing is, the height of the diff is the same still, and therefore, the driveshafts are at a massively acute angle to even get the wishbones level.
So, what did you guys do? Did you only remove a little bit off the brace? Or did you do anything else?
Cheers all,
Stan
