Seems to me that the sensible thing to do would be to reschedule for the 27th.

Was a good day you light weights i was hoping to take advantage of the low entry but i didnt  had a porr day missed practise as my my cells where nto done due to delays on way there. But round one went out with a setup which was a total guess it was good made a few changes for round 2 the car was going really well for a lap and ahalf and then half way round a corner it rolled to a hault stupid switch wire came off soldered that back on then round 3 hoping for abetter one and :cry::cry: for some odd reason my car was really slow i changed pack and it was fine so must have put duff pack in :( but round 4 no problem the car was going really well its just my thumbs had given up lol and i was driving like a pillock. but i got a 10/329 with ah ell of alot of mistakes could have got an 11 out of it. But qualified e4 yay lol went into the lead into the first corner lead them round for a few laps then pulled out a bit of a lead then second place realed me in and passed me at about 3 or 4 minutes then i made a mistake which put a bit of distance between us so to try and catch him i layed the hammer down and crashed into the back wooden bit breaking a ball stud. but was good day

Too wet and cold for me, didn't want to go all that way just to be turned around, petrol is not cheap at the moment, spent morning in bed and rest of day with little one. AWESOME. Just a quick question is there a reason why we have to start so early cos when we get up at 5 etc the weather is very different to what the rest of the day is

jasonrcb
06-04-2008, 06:16 PM
superb day first off well done to the cov team for the efforts on clearing the track so we could race:thumbsup:

the day for me was the best 2wd i have had 4th in the b and first time out with the s2 the car is amazing and honestly as close to driving a 4wd car as 2wd could be i cant praise it highly enough

so thanks to mr atomic for getting the car to me for today and the help in getting the set up right roll on the next 2wd never thought i would say that

Had a good first round (22nd). 28th in the second round. Decided to change tyres for the third round and it was terrible (37th). With 50 points I was 10th in the C, but a return to my original setup and a great 4th round were not enough to stop me dropping to 1st in the D. I got hit after the jump by someone landing their car on me and the transmission failed on the 2nd lap.. so i was 10th.

I enjoyed the day, James also made the E final which he was really pleased with, finishing 7th from Q10.

Cant wait until Ledbury.. :)

Big well done to the coventry team for managing to get the track cleared so we could race. It seamed to me like most of the day me and Neil Oliver had a bungee cord attached to each other. We were always together on the track. It was good fun though as we had some good races together. Hopefully i can build on an average start to the season. (Driver needs to engage brain a little more)

Really looking forward to next weeks meeting now and giving the D4 it's maiden outing

well done on a good organised meeting, shame the food van didnt stay long ( i needed food).
had quite a good day's racing but never felt i could ever push the car enough all day (maybe my fear of coventry and breaking things) so opted for steady runs all day.
had a good final ending B3 after Mr Overall outdragged me down the straight!!.. one last but 1 lap ..
nice one guys , bring on the Ledbury and some Grass

I went the Grand National on the Saturday and started drinking at 9.30AM and stopped at about 2.30 Sunday morning. The alarm clock went off at 5.30. My head was like a horse was jumping up and down on it and my stomach was trying to get rid of all the food and beer. So I did not make it.:cry:

I am really looking forward to this weekend, Ledbury bring to on:woot:

I'd like to say thanks to the guys at Coventry for their hard work yesterday morning getting the track in a fit state for us to race on... when we arrived, there were around 8 people on the track all busy with shovels and brushes to get the snow off the track, including our regional rep so well done to all those guys
I've said it before, and will say it again.... that track is a hundred times better to drive in the anti-clockwise direction, so a further well done to whoever's decision it was to run that way!

Cheers, see you at ledbury.
