I've bought some Yokomo 12mm alloy wheel hexes to try on the front. They look like they will fit??

Will try soon??

What thickness are the wheel hexes on an X2c?

@toooldskool,

I think you need to some adjusting with the axles if you are planning on not using the B4 axle conversion. I am lead to believe that the XTE alloy hexes will go on with some drilling out and then I think the X2C axles need to be cut back - but I might be wrong.

That's what i've done. fitted X4 hubs on the front - they are the thinnest hubs i could find, as the pin goes on the front of the hub, not the back. they do need to be drilled out bigger to fit though & you may need to sand off any burrs on the wheel where the moulding has left lumps to stop binding.

Also i have been told a good tip (think it was on here or on the Ansmann UK racers facebook page, fit some 8th clutch shims as spacers if you get problems with binding.
