I was wondering if anyone has tested a flyweel on the cougar ? I saw that Xfactory have one for the X6. Maybe it could be a nice upgrade for slippery tracks.

On a Cougar it would only reduce grip. I think that flywheel was used when a three gear transmission was used to increase grip.

wrong. xfactory released it for the x6 square which was 4 gear, and it does not reduce grip. it makes the car more stable/docile in my opinion and easier to drive on low traction

somebody on here did make them for the cougar last year. Not sure if they took off or if they still make them. Do a search for flywheel and see if they old thread comes up
