Hi can anyone shed some info on geny powers needs?
I'm looking at buying a 700w silent suitcase geny (brigs and Stratton)
700w be good enough for racing ? Lipo charge, pit light etc ?

700w is about as low as you could go,1000w would be better.I have a 1000 and still find it will trip out with power supplies etc, It's the spikes you have to think of:o.

i have a basic 700w gennie and it's been fine for 5 years. 2 racers charging off it, ipod speakers, phone chargers etc. power supplies
unless you are planning on boiling a kettle on it it should be fine.

I have one of these, had it for 12 months, been ok so far, when set on eco due to the inverter the engine revs all over the place at times, but it's great and uses very little fuel can't work out what it's running on half the time:lol:
