I pad virus software

Hi guys,just bought an iPad first gen, I'm looking for advice on virus software

Is there something out there that's free in the app store worth using?

Then again do I need it?

There aren't any apps for antivirus software as apple build in virus protection into the os. Also 99.999% of all viruses are designed to attack Microsoft driven files. Apples are immune to these viruses.
This is what I am led to believe but am prepared to be corrected.
Apple advertise these facts on there website for macs!!
