Hi all,

As some of you are aware, i have been waiting for my B4.1 Vega for well over a month now and it looks like i will be waiting for another month, year, decade....

Anyway, am considering looking for a cheapish 2wd to use while i wait. Does anyone at the club have a 2wd buggy they want to sell to get me by until my car arrives?

Cheers

Matt.

Hi mate,

Hi mate

The main reason i went for a B4.1 Vega is due to have so many spares for the b4, ive seen all you guys running the X2C and they look great but the vega seemed the best option as i wouldn't have to buy spares. Ive also got brand new weight kit to fit vega that i would have no use for if i changed to Ansmann, although having said that if i get my money back i could buy the X2C new and then a spare used one...

The problem is that i am unable to get a respone from the company i ordered the car from, so am over £200 down at the moment:mad:

why not a c4.1?

Why not just use the b4 for now? It won't be that far off the pace.

Thought about it, but wasn't keen on the chassis.

I sold my B4 and X6 ages ago and just kept what i needed for the conversion as the place i brought it were showing one in stock so thought i would have no longer than a week to wait. Wish i hadn't now..

Ok fair enough reason, i guess team extreme are busy with the gen2 tamiya kit, i have heard that it isn't always very easy to get in contact with them so keep trying, maybe a post in the vega section will get a reply?

Is this a new chassis or a mod to the chassis? When will it be available? (i need a strong car or one thats easy to fix as im very very good......at crashing)

Cheers

Tried that, dont really want to slate anyone or start a thread on a public forum that my lead to people jumping on the band wagon. I will just ask for refund now and see how i get on..

If the refund goes through i think it will be between the C4.1 (possibly with Rudebits chassis) as have plenty of spares and a B44.1 or X2C due to club support

Sounds like you may have made your decision but it wouldn't be right if I didn't recommend the new cougar. I know people on here don't necessarly have good opinions of Schumacher, but Im really enjoying the new car and it only costs a little over £200 if you buy through Matt. Your more than welcome to try mine next week.

Hi Colin,

I do like the Schumacher products and in the right hands they look like a fantastic car, however I do not have the driving skill or more importantly the technical knowledge to make this the right choice for me. They do look the nuts though...
