What parts are needed to do this?

I used a set of the 410 wing mounts and not real stable or supported and as yet untested.

Hopefully someone releases one soon, like what Jörn is driving

you'll need the rear bulkhead set TD330009 and some wing washers and m3 screws. for wing washers, i and a few others have used the 408 wing washers

Mark (tc3nitro) has put some pics up on here so you should be able to roughly see where to cut the rear bulkheads. Also you will have to dremel the side that goes against the tower flat. Its good mod, transformed my car making it stabler in corners making it easier to drive.

hope thats helped.

If you look at my Jconcepts Finnisher thread then you can see a few pictures of how they were cut.

Don't suppose anyone has tried this along with the rear shock mod?

It has certainly helped find more rear grip.
I ran a cab forward body on my 210 at Robinhood at the weekend, it had mega steering but the rear had plenty of grip.
This mod along with a small spur moving the motor back has really transformed the car.

I personally have not tried mounting the shocks on the rear of the arms and don't know anyone who has tried it with these other changes.

I just used the 2.

When pictured mine were actually a bit lop sided !
I have now filed grooves out of the mounts where they hit the shock tower to help this.

If i get a chance this week i will photograph it again.

someone at Torch tried the rear shock mod last sunday and liked it so looks as if i will experiment with them both this weekend, have been running a 78 spur for a few meetings and like that!

Hi Hotrodchris.

When you use the rear shock mod... what about the rear droop
screws??
And as I can see, you have flip'ed over the rear lower arms (left
to right and right to left) - but when you do that, will that not
change the wheelbase??

It actualy narrows it slighty!
When measured at UK Regionals mine is one of the few that come up legal width with schumacher mini pins on!

How did you find it like this?
My car feels very nervous on grass, it was perfect on astro, just can`t get the same dialled in feel on grass.

It was good on open flowing tracks but under steered on tight technical sections!
