View Full Version : Arena X Rd 6, The Finale

14-04-2012, 06:42 AM
Hi Guys,

Just to say Arena X Rd 6 is still on despite the drivers list looking empty,

We took bookings in from the regulars manually at Broxtowe Mid East Regional last Sunday so the automatic system has been cheated and looks a lot lower than it is.

Track is built and ready to go, big thanks to Reg and Spyro for their graft on Thursday night to get it built... it's all Reg's fault :woot:

The Raffle prizes for the series are all here and ready for the Finale, A ticket is given for each round entered rather than being purchased to win so entering tomorrow gives you an extra chance, This will be drawn tomorrow and there are lots of top goodies available to be won for both dBoots Championship entrants and the SCT racers

Would like to say a big, big thanks to Durango UK, dBoots, R.c.Dis.Co and A1 Hobbies LTD for generously donating raffle prizes for the Series Finale.

There are also fantastic Trophies to be awarded to the highest championship points scorers too.

Food should be available as there is an Equestrian event on, will get this 100% confirmed ASAP,

A1 Hobbies are unable to attend due to holidays and illness taking the staff out of action, if you need anything for tomorrow then you can contact Phil on 01476 579393 before 4PM today and it can be delivered to Arena X in the morning for you, dBoots control tyres are available as usual from Race Control.

I am unsure if Access models will be attending, again this will be confirmed ASAP.

Hope to see you all tomorrow for the Grand Finale :woot:

Was gonna be there, but "couldn't get my pass stamped" ergo the Mrs had arranged a trip to what she said was skegness, which turned out to be Scunthorpe. So my weekend was rainy, windy, and cold.

Unfortunately Reg is now under strict contract, as his Chimp Pimp i cannot allow any work to be done on other tracks... unless it involves serious amounts of Hazard tape :woot:

Would be nice to see you at next years meetings matey, Team Shambles needs you!

Thanks to everyone that has attended the Arena X series, i think it went well for a first stab at 1/10th winter series, there has been some great racing, lots of fun and banter and a lot has been learned, plus the feedback from the racers has been great so lots to work with next year... as they say, the aim next year is bigger, better, faster, more! planning is already started so we'll be working hard to improve on this season's series.

Will put an Arena X series report together asap, with some piccies etc and tie up all the loose ends, but give me a bit of time as we now have to dismantle and move Arena X track kit etc to our storage and get the outdoor venue up and running for tomorrow :eh?:

So Cheers for the comments guys and thanks for being part of it
