Fitted a New Savox 1258 servo and can't seem to achieve full lock either way, i've even have the EPA to 120% and still no joy. Is there a way to adjust the steering linkage?

Could you post a picture of the setup? Make sure that the link between the servo and the steering rack is level and that there is no binding on the servo horn between the link and the horn itself. I have a 1258 in mine without any issues.

A longer servo arm should do the trick

I raced at the weekend with a old prolux servo(stiff!) so i never really noticed if i achieved full lock but had EPA around 85% . Installed the new 1258 and noticed i wasn't getting to full lock but maybe i never was?

Not trying to teach you to suck eggs but you have made sure that you are not using and dual rate or D/R? On my 3pk it is too easy to accidentally lower the dual rate and I have only recently worked out how to disable it.

AmiSMB,
You are right mate! Increasing my DR from 50% to 65% gave me full lock, i always thought that was just for increasing speed/sensitivity.
I had the prolux at 100% because it's a SLOW servo but this 1258 is super fast so lowered it!

Glad I could help. Best put the DR at 100% and then adjust the EPA so that you get full lock both left and right without the servo making a lot of noise so it does not burn itself out and then you can use the DR if you find you need to get rid of some steering. If you find the new steering servo too fast then use the steering speed option if you have it. Good luck.
