You never seem to hear about the early Kyosho tourers these days, so nice to see some of them :)
I never raced touring myself, but in my purchases and swaps over the years ive picked up a few TF4's and KX1's. Nice, solid cars.

wow, the TF cars before the 5 ! i love them all the TF4 was probably the best. i still have my RRC magazine from march 2000 and on the back page was an Ad for the TF-4 type R. i also got the magazine article for the TF-4 Type R from rc car action magazine 2000. the TF-4 was more balanced and better built than the TF-2 or 3s.

I have just picked up what I believe is a TF2 or TF3 Chassis and looking to get it running again. Does anyone have any manuals / exploded diagram of this so I can identify parts needed.
I have a few questions....
What pinion would the original have run? Spur gear fitted is 86T?
How was the original steering servo mounted. From what I can see it is mounted on its side on the bottom plate, which makes the belt drive sit just above and almost touching.
Thanks
Mark

Hi Liam - did you have any luck finding the manual?
I have a TF3R-99, this is a full graphite version with front oneway and aluminium shocks, also an unique suspension used just with this car. I donīt have that much knowledge on the vintage Kyosho tourers but I have been told this is the most rare version of any of their touring cars. My car just have been built but never run. Pictures of this type of car could be found at Tamiyaclub.
