Try this:

I was given one of these under warranty when the original SF-50 servo (a re-badged Hitec HS645MG) in my HPI Vorza stripped its gears.
The SB-5 is half the price, has the same torque but twice the speed!!
I can't comment on long-term reliability because I haven't had it very long but it feels solid.

Look in the for sale section, pick something up that's been used but still works. Any of the well known makes will be fine, Futaba, HiTec, Savox etc.
I'd look for between 10 and 20kg of torque though. Speedo won't be vital if you were thinking of getting one for under £40. If you search the Servo shop database that has just about everything's spec's or just look through one of the shops websites at the specs.
It might be worth putting a wanted ad up ?
Bizzarly, i gave up looking for a cheap servo and ordered a hitec HS7955TG this morning after not having had any replies. then I get 2 in quick succession. Bizzare.
Anyway thet hpi doesn't look to bad for the money. I had also been scouring the sale sections in pretty much allthe forums and never really saw any great deals.
So atleast I have a servo that should need to be replaced any time soon.
Infact the hitec will be going into my brushless losi 8T and the Ace ds1015 that is in that will be put into my Brushless 8B2 eu.
Cheers guys
