TORCH are hosting a round of SC for the HPI Short Course Southern Series 2012
The cost of the meeting is £5
Booking in and rules can be found here
http://www.adurrc.org/index.php/shortcourse
We will also be running buggy classes for this meeting, but it will be dictated by SC numbers.
So what ever you are racing, 2WD SC, 4WD SC, 2WD or 4WD expect a full days racing. This is also the bank holiday weekend, so whatever your racing fix you should be able to get it at TORCH.

Haven't a clue I'm afraid as I don't own a SC. Give RC Lazy a shout as they raced a Durango there earlier this year.
I'll have to check the pics first, but layout is v similar to the regional held on the track. Don't worry no SCs have been on the track since Jan/Feb this year.

Schy yellows and blues are ok
Fastrax Kourse Kings are excellent on the SHRCCC astro so they may be a good choice for TORCH SC event.

Look forward to seeing people tomorrow.
Remember those that don't own a SC can run 2WD or 4WD buggies and it's only £5 for all day!

Not too bad so far. Bit of light rain for an hour or so and one heavy shower. Could be another on the way, but latest forecast I saw indicated the rain should of left our region by the morning. Keep yer fingers crossed!

well done guys superb meeting yesterday, excellent new layout well worth the drive.
For all the sc owners tyres for torch astro are
Dry
Schumacher yellow mini spikes or trimmed mini pins (U6766 or U6767)
Fastrax Kourse Kings (trimmed on front to clam down steering)
Wet/Damp
Schumacher Silver mini spike (U6773)
Lets get more sc action going there so much fun

Got to say it was a great day, weather held off and even had some sun !!
The TORCH crew as normal, excellent days racing
Real down point for me was lack of support from the Short Course Guy's
Where were you !!
If it wasn't for the normal 2wd and 4wd Torch Members there would have been only 13 short course in total to run the meeting with !!
For me this class will die out if the series and class is not supported !
( Role on Abuse, LOL :p )

It was a real shame that not many sc trucks came to race, the weather held out all day!.
I had a good day also enjoyed watching the sc trucks racing too!.
