Hi all, after what seems like a life time, the Basingstoke track (affectionately nicknamed - "The WoodYard" will finally open its doors for the first Members only meeting on the 6th May. The track should be fully open by the last week in May.
The intention is to open one evening a week and Saturdays for open practice. The first 3 Sundays of the month will be race days and the final Sunday will be indoor 1:12 racing.
See all the progress on our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/groups/BRCCLUB/.

Which 1/12th classes will you be running please ? I am not on facebook so I cannot see or follow whats happening !!!!!

With all the new rule changes that has recently happened what is the clubs take on it ? Will be people be able to use the new schumacher car ? or the Tamiya car ? or the speedmerchant car ?

Also could you please put on here the address and post code of the track as like I said I do not do facebook as do many other people.

There will be more info on the website very soon (as soon as I get 5 mins to update it) - www.basingstokerc.org.uk.

1:12 - we will be running 4 Cell Stox, Mardave's and Schumacher's. Brushless and Li-po will probably be included in the rulings but this has yet to be confirmed.

"The WoodYard" track is off Roman Road, Basingstoke, and hopefully will be open by the end May

I will have to look into it more. I would be more than happy to include additional manufacturers if they do not give a distinct advantage. At the moment though I have to concentrate on the outdoor stuff, so no decision, will be made until later in the year.

Afternoon fellas - I was wondering if the track might be open for some practice this coming Saturday, as I am doing in the area visiting family and I fancy running under the fab sunshine (as long as its still here)?

Cheers Mark

My directions skills are not great but if coming from Worting road direction it's just as roman way starts to curve on the left hand side, where there is a gate you'll see loads of logs and trees etc.

thank you to GlockMoney and AJ Roberts.

I work shifts so cannot always race on Sundays so a week day track close to home is ace.

Possibly will come and have a look this Wednesday as I will have my boy with me too as its half term.
