Ahhhh no,bloody boy racer! may let you take a spin with the pussy:woot:

racingdwarf 27-03-2010 09:33 AM

I thought I had a spair b4, for chris, but sadly it has so many bits missing I can't rebuild it:blush:. so I anyone has a car he could use?

Also we need to spend an hour getting the jump back in shape, and finnishing the track off, I will be there around 9.30 10 ish I will bring some tools etc.

jcb 27-03-2010 10:21 AM

Unless it's raining I'll pop along. Most likely watch the grand prix and head over when that finishes which I think is nine so should be over by half past.

racingdwarf 27-03-2010 10:55 AM

Ok be good to see you...even if you will kick my arse with your pussy, mines getting a bit old now:eh?:

Albertini 27-03-2010 10:56 AM

I'll get over as early as I can, which will probably be 9.30,(remember we are losing an hour in bed:()
I'm bringing my tamiya. may put a 19 in it, but I will bring all my other electrics and stuff so if anybody does have a roller they'd like to lend out that would be cool, if not no bother, I'll have a stress free racing day:D

See you all tomorrow:thumbsup:

racingdwarf 28-03-2010 08:40 PM

yey another dry days racing:thumbsup:. bit of a late start due to the track needing finishing...oh and a few people falling foul of the clock change:lol:.

I've never done this, but here is the end result after finals. finals were a bit hit and miss due to a bit of car sharing going on.

B final

1. chris, with his 10yr old tamiya:woot: 2wd
2. Greg d'narn , at his first meeting, nice one 2wd
3. Thomas...what can I say:eh?: 2wd
4. mantaman, he is getting a lot better:thumbsup: 2wd
5. mat with a DNF due to a breakage 2wd

A final

1. ME...ME ME:lol: 2wd
2 simon watson, 4wd
3. carl the seaweed sucker 4wd ( I think)
4 oliver with dads car:woot: 2wd
5 JCB after a shock spring problem, and a stiff word with his dad about the on off switch:wub

I think I have the positions correct, but chris will soon put me right!

Greg had a great day and drove very well (must be the car set up:D) even said he would come back:lol:. thomas , oliver and mantaman are getting better and better every week.
Must say thank you to Trevor for his help this morning with the track.

jcb 29-03-2010 12:22 PM

Was a good day and nice to see some new faces at the track too.

Strange watching my old B4 go round the track in the hands of someone else, and was pretty impressed with how well Chris' tamiya went to, shows you can have a good day on a budget.

Also thought that Oliver and Thomas' driving has improved quite a lot since I last saw him race, although, brain fade for Thomas in the final meant a 3rd place finish. It will come with practice and NOT playing with tanks and the football between races!!!

Hi all,

Thanks for another fun days racing, even if i did turn up an hour late-nod to DAVE,& Jon i bet that it must've been weird for you to see your old B4 pinballing its way around the track-if only we'd been in the same race then nostalgia might've confused ya long enough for me to sneak past,:woot:!!!!!

Chris are you really sure you need to splash out on a completely new buggy when a few choice hop-ups would bring the Desert Gator up to date

Thanks again guys for all the advice, pointers & tips,i'm looking forward to getting out there again :thumbsup::thumbsup:

MantaMan76 29-03-2010 07:37 PM

P.S. Thanks again to Chris for the loan of the servo after my steering mysteriously went slack so that i could make the numbers up in the B final!!!:D

Albertini 29-03-2010 07:44 PM

Yep a fun days racing with that tamiya:D

I think everbody had a moment of brilliance at some stage during the day:thumbsup: ( oh and did we mention Dave won the A:lol:)

racingdwarf 29-03-2010 10:39 PM

Hold on, did DAVE WIN THE A:lol:(but only because jon broke the cat )
