nope that ones a jpeg straight out of the camera

i took a few in colour & suddenly thought "actually this would work a lot better in Black & White" so put my camera in P (basically auto) mode & selected dynamic B&W & click there you go

not bad for a compact :)

Did you get lost on your way to Portrush Jim ?

That 1st shot looks great, I would ask you what settings but I know it'll have been 'P' (for professional :p)

OK. So I got the pic up but how do I get it to a slightly smaller size like you other guys?
First time I've done this.

chris brown 23-05-2011 10:57 PM

I'm right clicking on the image in photobucket and selecting copy and then pasting on the oople reply form. Is this the best way to do it? http://i1089.photobucket.com/albums/...g?t=1306191420

eyeayen 24-05-2011 09:35 AM

Nice images Chris.

When using Photobucket if you select your picture it will give you some options next to it, the one you want is surround by an image tag [img] copy and paste that link into the forum and it will display your photobucket image.

Hope that helps ?

chris brown 24-05-2011 01:21 PM

Thanks.
I'll put a couple more on later and give it a go.
Cheers.

The first shot is nicely composed, but lacks a subject! The bluebells weren't in direct sunlight, so you lacked sufficient light - with flowers, you want to focus much closer, and as with all macro type shots, use a small aperture (large F number). There are a number of ways to do this without splurging on new lenses if your current lenses lack close focus:

Went to Duxford Flying Legends on Saturday and took these pics. I am putting up these ones of the Douglas Skyraider and the Mustang as they crashed on the Sunday. The larger Skyraider lost a big chunk of its wing, the mustang crashed, the pilot bailing out before impact. Both pilots are ok. Sad loss of the Mustang though.

This component photos was taken in 2009, but I've only just got round to stitching them together. It's of Loch Levin in Scotland, a truly gorgeous place.
