Thanks to the 30+ drivers who came to Oswestry last night for our first club meeting on the new track.

Is free practice available at all just to get a feel for the surface? Or is it all locked up when meetings are not on?

I've done a fair bit of racing 1/10 on road but fancy a go at 1/10 off road and need to get some mileage under my belt on astro so I don't completely embarass myself come race day.

Hi Gary,
The track is set within the ex army camp in park hall, and unfortunately it is locked up normally. We do however race every Thursday evening from approx 6pm. We are currently racing indoors on carpet with a number of jumps, a table top and a wall of death.

Feel free to join us on a Thursday for some practice.

Thanks
Mike

What's the deal with power? Do we need a leisure battery etc or are there power points indoors?

Also, are lipo sacks mandatory? I've not got one yet but I will pick one up next time I order something for peace of mind.

There are mains points available. If you need a lipo sack, I have a spare one I want to get rid of. I'll be there this thursday night
