Must see tomy gx buggy , lipo 2.4ghz £30 deffo stocking fillers.

Has anyone seen what's prob going to be a Christmas sell out .

Seen it advertised on the box and was in Asda today which have them for £32 ( can get cheaper if you shop about .

Basic spec is lipo, 2.4ghz tx and look indestructible .

Some vide and specs and I reckon these are gonna be massive and will hopefully convert many to our sport so only a good thing in my eyes.

I'm prob going to buy one tomoz for a blast ha ha!

I could do with one of those roll bars on my Lazer! These do look pretty cool!

Nick Goodall 10-11-2011 12:31 PM

Wow they look incredible! That's probably the first decent Micro (as in 1/64 or whatever they are) that i've ever seen! Smashes the old Bit Char-G to pieces put it that way :-)

Cardnim 10-11-2011 12:42 PM

Awesome little toy - and as you say can only be good for getting youngsters into our hobby.
Well done crazy japanese toy company! :)

Even Azarashi have made a set of optional bodyshells for them, they are HUGE in Japan apparently....

Must admit looks tempting, looking around the majority of reviews I've seen are not great. No spares available as far as I can tell which puts me off a fair bit, especially as the bad reviews seems to point to them being more fragile then the vids would have you believe.

pro4nut 10-11-2011 02:13 PM

The fragile thing is more about how you use it i would guess. Will grab one this evening and see how long it takes for me to kill it...

jimmy 10-11-2011 02:27 PM

Does someone have a half pipe in their living room there?

ghostdogg 10-11-2011 02:33 PM

They look great fun!!
I want one!!

She divorced you for that?? :D

spenner 10-11-2011 03:48 PM

Have to say i purchased a couple of these about 6 weeks ago!!! They are awesome for racing round the living room.. Steering is all or nothing but they are so nimble nothing stands in there way.

I did buy them for my two boys but had to get one for myself....

If they start making parts for them that would be great!!!

racingben 10-11-2011 03:53 PM

I have one of these as well.

ignore the advertised range of 10 meters, I have had mine running fine at the other end of a big hall - 30 meters or so.

Only thing to watch out for is the rear axle clogging up. Particularly if you run it on carpet.

Si Coe 10-11-2011 04:02 PM

I got one too. Its Micro T sized not Charg-Q sized, but IMHO its better than a stock Micro T (I had one of them for a while too) at half the price. The steering is annoying, but the biggest 2 problems are the axles clogging (with dog hair in my house! ) and the fact its needs a slipper as its got way too much power for laminate floors!

Those maths sound about right, 1 for the kids to share, 1 for you and the last one as your spare should there be an 'accident'!

panch 11-11-2011 10:42 AM

Had one of these in the office at the start of the year, massively impressed, could have played with it all day

jpmatrix 11-11-2011 11:53 AM

Bargainsville

They look awesome for the money. Cant beleive how fast they zip round that indoor track :o.

Just ordered one for my six year old and myself and even the wife wants one:woot:

qatmix 11-11-2011 12:25 PM

These cars are great Fun, I have a Micro T and even though this has non proportional steering it can run rings around the micro T.

Mine has been thoroughly thrashed, and never had a problem (Apart from cleaning hte axles)

daz 17-03-2012 03:03 PM
