Blitz rear suspension help needed.

Just finished the rear end on my ESE and not happy at all. It's all as per the manual but basically once past the "driveshafts level" point there is no more up travel available without the turnbuckle and driveshaft starting to bend .

If I take the shocks off the rear end stays up on its own . The driveshaft seems to be the problem as it's too long. If I take the silicone o-ring out of the outdrive then my problems go away.

So I guess my question is, how crucial is the o-ring?

i didnt run any on my blitz before i switched to cvd's so i wouldnt worry about it, all they are for is to stop the standard driveshafts moving but seeming as the cvd's are fixed to the rear hubs then i wouldnt worry mate

By coincidence I've just noticed the same thing on my Tamiya DB02 - I removed one o-ring and the suspension moves freely now. You just want to make sure the driveshaft can't move out of the drive cup - the Tamiya uses three o-rings on one side (one too many)

The car decided for me in the end! One came out of its own accord so I pulled t'other one out as well and it's fine now .
