Like this vid, you seem very calm and your driving reflects that.

Hi Chris,

Nice video & nice driving

The cocking of the rear wheel might be to do with your front setup being a bit soft. I had a similiar problem when I started to push my car more & found I was diving into the corner at the end of the straight with more gutso!

Stiffer spring + slightly heavier oil sorted the problem.

Good Driving and result Chris,
I read all the comments in my best Chris Pattinson accent :woot:.
Unlucky on the last lap, that pass attempt was really good

bigred5765 04-08-2014 09:54 PM

great video chris
matty got a lucky start but we just couldn't find a good balance that he was happy with, matty said the same his thoughts don't crash don't crash shit I crashed

Click. The rear inner wheel was only lifting at the end of the straight from what I see. The rest of the track it looks really well balanced. You should never change setup for one corner!! You do like Chris did. Change your line/approach to the problematic corner.

Fair enough, but it is possible that making the change(s) I mentioned might allow the car to be pushed a little bit more on all parts of the track.

In the video the driving style & overall handling was very good so maybe leave well alone:)

Thanks for the comments guys.
I try not to think don't crash, don't crash, don't crash, don't crash, ... it usually ends with me crashing. :woot:

I went up to 500 Core Oil in the front, and was running a front roll bar in the end, but it was still lifting at the rear. I didn't want to mess with the roll centres, as I was happy with the car on the rest of the track, so like Steve said ... I was happy to drive round that particular problem.
... I noticed on the video that Terry Streeters car was doing the same.

The K1 is drives really well at the moment, the best I've had a 4wd going for sure.

Thoughts

Usually quite a few:

Why do I start out quick then get rubbish

God that blue cougar behind is quick

Whats for tea tonight (usually in the final)
