X factory x6-s

Any news on this car as im really interested

Darren Boyle 08-03-2014 07:51 PM

There are a few prototype cars being run by our team drivers at present, we expect to be making an official announcement early next week and widespread general availability is VERY close indeed.

Dan Greenwood and Kevin Hunt both ran the car at the BWOC event two weeks ago.
Kevin also ran the car today at Silverstone and finished a fine 3rd overall in the A final.
Also Ed Kerry is running a car tommorrow at the Triple Crown event at Faversham and Dave Orbell will be at Stotfold too...

More news after the weekend once the events have run....

Ok seen eds whens it out. And is it going be a complete conversion or half needing the cubed ?

arransmith27 10-03-2014 04:56 PM

I appear to have missed this one, what's an x6-s?

gixxer 10-03-2014 07:15 PM

I'm Interested in one of these but can't find much on it what's involved in the conversion? I have a cubed so what else would I need?

Thanks in advance

Having seen Kevin's at the weekend. This car is sweet.... Wish I had waited before I made my recent purchase. Grrrrr

More info and announcement will be made soon

Rear-motor X-6? :p

MikePimlott 10-03-2014 10:31 PM

B4 front
B44 rear

X-factory middle, As a guess :p

Infest 11-03-2014 09:28 PM

Interesting I liked the chassi idea needs an x6 rear wing mount as the b44 rear towers are crap and wing mounts are pants. Looked well balanced at triple crown and had rearly good drive.

That's way more interesting than a crazy B44 hybrid!

grimidol 12-03-2014 07:28 AM

Eds car was getting faster all night and looked really good at maritime.

Hi Gixxer, there is nothing top secret about it, we have had several prototype cars being run out in public for several weeks now. This thread as well as a few others elsewhere was started by members of the public who had heard or seen about it so we acted to the rumours by confirming the X6-S was coming soon. We have been waiting for the final production parts but they arrived this week. We are currently building the car that is to be used for the official press release photos, when this is complete the full details, pictures and pricing are then going to be unveiled to the public. We think this will be early next week now.......

Think it was asked before - but couldn't see a definitive answer...

Is the car to be sold complete - or will one require a donor B44 as well as a B4/X6 front end?

I know there are a number of variations of this kind of layout around, one superb example built by my racing chums - but unless you have all the donor parts it's an expensive option.

A full kit would be great as it would be a much cheaper / simpler option for people without donor cars....

Hi Andy, I can confirm that we are talking about a conversion(s) not a full kit, but other than that there is not much more I can reveal at this stage until the full details are sent out early next week....
