Entry Level 2.4g Transmitter.

Hi All.

Just looking to take a step up from my 27mhz transmitter to a 2.4g and wondered if anyone has any views on the futaba 2hr stick transmitter?

I am just looking for something basic to get myself started. Also can I intergrate the 2.4 setup with old electrics as i currently still run an old (M-tronics) ESC and brushed motor. I have heard the steering servo may need updating to digital but would the ESC still run ok?

Cant help you on the TX front since I do pistol grip not sticks but your old servo & esc should work fine as the as the 2.4g receivers still use the same PWM signal as the older stuff.

First step up is the core stick 2.4 transmitter. Has ok specs and about £30
Next up 2nd hand Sanwa Gemini X or Futaba 3gr. About £60-100 and offer great response times and overall specs.
Missed a few but you then hit the KO, Sanwa ezxes z and zz and £200+ 2nd hand and about 500 new. Probably a bit overkill for now unless a good deal on one comes up.
For me look for a 2nd hand Gemini X 2.4
