You also have Silverstone MCC which now has a purpose built off road track. Other then that you have Coventry MCC which is around 35 miles and Stotfold MCC at around 45 miles. All are purpose built facilities.

Coventry is pretty easy to get too... and is Astro so can be used all year round.. membership is £25..

Usually get there in about half an hour from Rothwell on a clear Sunday morning...:)

Hi... is silverstone still running
If so when do you meet.

Yes Silverstone is still going... They only really run regional events at the moment but they have a new commitee now and future plans are afoot for winter meetings etc..

If you are looking to do regionals then the mid west could end up being some long days..
Coventry is the closest but after that you are looking at Stoke, Kidderminster, Oswestry etc....

Mid South is your local region with 90% of the tracks less than an hour away... apart from Swindon!!

But it's your choice and whatever region you race in you will enjoy..
