My First Chassi

This is my first seriuosly try on a chassi, my first painted chassi was a "one-colour-wonder".

Im happy with the result, regarding it being my first "advanced layout" try.
If you look closely, you can see some bleeding and mistakes, but a few feet away, it looks good IMHO.

Now I only need too apply some decals:rolleyes:

Paints are spraycans, and the mask I used is a liquid one. To bad, I didnīt have a sharp knife, so I ahd some problem cutting the mask:(

What do you mean? Its dark green.

If you mean that the wing is only green. Thats because, Im going to apply some big decals there, which are white with a black border.

i mean, why would you ever paint a body dark green? unless it was something military related, and i don't think an x6 is.

I could ask why so many people want tribal flames and all sorts on shell, especialy saloon shells, as I don't see many cars with them painted on.....

Next time, use a fresh scalple blade and plan out your colours a little more and you should have more fun!

First I thought about using yellow, instead of dark green(which ainīt so dark in the sunshine). But then I liked the contrast between the white decals and the dark background.

Going to post a picture, with the decals on too.

-->DCM, going to buy some fresh blades, a new shell. This was just a praticeshell, but Im happy with it. Turned out much better than I thought it would. The tribalflames, was just something I wanted to try with the liquidmask, how it would work with curves.

Next shell is going to have straight and some slighty bended lines.

PS! Got no problem with non-military vehicle having dark green;) DS!
