Car lacquer vs Nitro block
 

Just finished my first gas car and the customer mentioned backing with nitro block. I usually back shells with clear car lacquer. Does any one know if car lacquer does the same job or do I need to invest in the proper nitro block

used it clear lacquer before many times never had a complaint

it works great and goes hard so protects paint more
