i saw you setup with rb6 ball diff so i got one to install. was not the easiest to put in but how did you get it in?

Stickygeko 19-04-2016 06:15 AM

Dremel the outdrives

madmax 19-04-2016 09:37 PM

As Paul said you need to dremel the out drives and use about 4mm of shim a each side

Tsudo5th 21-04-2016 03:17 AM

i got it to work but i actually used vinyl tubing that had the same id as the od of outdrives and works perfectly. tube cost $.50 for 1'. car does awsome on clay with ball diff.

One thing we have been doing is drilling Pistons we are at 1.7 all round at moment, bearing in mind we are running on astro we have found the car absorbs the bumps better and dousnt get out of shape as easily. Just go up 100 cost on oil so if you are running 350 rear go to 450

Stickygeko 21-04-2016 01:20 PM

im running kit pistons still Lee, ive no drill so cant make them 1,7
i think Mark may still be on 1.6 front 1.7 rear

Hayden ran my car at the nationals at kiddi like that with 500 front 450 rear and went well

xray 3dot front
xray 2dot rear

Im going to try 2 dot front 1 dot rear at Bury tonight in a practice

Tsudo5th 23-04-2016 03:11 AM

there are a few guys at the a main hobbies track that run the s12 and said to run 3x1.4 with 32.5w in front and 2x1.6 30w in rear. they say it works great on the high bite track they have. I will know next sunday, am going there again to test my sworkz 1/8 scales for the sworkz challenge and will hit up the outback track too for the s12. will give update.

This is my Base setup for Dry Astro/Grass and Carpet. I will be giving this to all new Sworkz Team Drivers to use as a good starting point.
